The Havanese Breed
zozo Tees is named after my havanese, Zoey. I find that most people are not familiar with the Havanese breed, but once you meet one, you'll never forget! I was lucky enough to meet the most incredible Havanese breeders ever, Lauren, Doug, and Mykensie. Check out their website for more Havanese information: www.myladhavanese.com. Food
We learned early on that Zoey had a food allergy, and unfortunately, it took trying TONS of foods before we figured out that she was allergic to almost everything. With food allergies, there is no definitive test to figure out specifics. Therefore, it was a long process of trial and error. In the end, we figured out that beef, chicken, lamb, and salmon were all triggers. Even worse was the fact that salmon oil is contained in so many foods. Luckily, we found a few options -- all raw. Ziwi Peak dehydrated dog food comes in a venison and is fantastic; Zoey loves it. However, it can be fairly expensive. We also found that raw food had some fantastic benefits and is less expensive and so healthy for dogs. Our favorite is Jake and Daisey's Buffalo, Fruit and Vegetable. There are no additives and Zoey is crazy about it. Check out Jake & Daiseys Raw Pet Foods Inc. for more information.
